Sulfur acne treatment
You may be surprised to hear it, but sulfur can be a great acne treatment. Sulfur has been used to fight acne dating all the way back to ancient Rome!
Sulfur supports the shedding of dead skin cells, so it helps both in the prevention and treatment of acne. Sulfur is a vital ingredient of many different acne treatments. Dead skin cell block up individual pores on your face and allow acne to appear, sulfur dries the skin cells making acne harder to come about.
As I said in the paragraph above, sulfur works by drying out skin, so it should only be used in moderation. If sulfur is used in excess or by the wrong person, you can imagine what your face would look like and feel like the next morning.
You can buy sulfur for acne over the counter and try to manually concoct some sort of formula based on what some random person on the internet tells you to do, but I do not advise this. Instead, try looking at the labels of every potential acne treatment and only trying the acne treatments that have sulfur as a primary ingredient. Or, the next time you see your dermatologist, suggest sulfur as an acne treatment and gauge his or her response.
