There are many different types of acne medicines. The effectiveness of each type of treatment depends on dozens of factors, including how big your bank account is, how long you can wait until you want the acne medicine to start kicking in, the type of acne that is most prevalent on your face…

Tetracycline acne is a common antibiotic used in treating acne. You can click on the link to read a full article I wrote on it, but the basic cliffnotes is that Tetracycline acne works pretty well and you should consider using it if you are not worried about mild side effects.

Microdermabrasion acne is also another possible way to control your acne. It’s not really an acne medicine necessarily, more like a special treatment dermatologists can offer that will reduce acne’s appearance on your face.

Another option is a unique acne medicine, Glycolic acid acne treatment. Glycolic acid is highly acidic, so that helps in the war against acne.
