There is a very small chance, about .01% [1 out of 10 thousand] that you could get serious side effects after taking minocycline to treat your acne. The main serious side effect is Lupus, which is a very big deal, but again the chances you get lupus because of minocycline treatment is very low.
Everyone is different, everyone has a different body, different people respond to different treatments, so minocycline is far from a “lock” as a cure to your acne troubles, but there is a very good possibility that it could help.
