• Many can have allergic reactions to Benzoyl peroxide.
• The main side effect most get from Benzoyl peroxide is drying of the skin, which could get pretty serious if used in high doses.

The verdict: Benzoyl peroxide is a good acne treatment, however the potential side effects and the potential for a serious allergic reaction prohibits me to highly recommend it. Try to talk to your dermatologist before Benzoyl peroxide treatment if at all possible.
