Clindamycin for acne

Clindamycin is a fairly cheap acne treatment.
Pro’s:
- Clindamycin retails at around 10-30 dollars for a supply that should last you several weeks or months. This is not necessarily cheap, but it is when you compare it to other potential acne treatments.
- Clindamycin treatment could do wonders for you if you have moderate acne.
- Clindamycin is easy to apply, you do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to use it! This may sound dumb, but you cannot take things like this for granted.
Con’s:
- It can take several weeks for Clindamycin treatment to kick in and start working. In the bigger picture this should not be a big deal, but if you are looking to get rid of pimples quickly, this is not the treatment for you.
- You body can become dependent on this type of treatment. You will need to use Clindamycin treatment everyday for your acne to stay away. This is likely the most significant drawback to this type of treatment.
- If you do not use the correct doses, you could end up with serious dry skin, redness of the skin, and other complications. It is also important to know what you are doing before embarking on any type of acne treatment.
- Your face could become very itchy while taking Clindamycin.
- Like any treatment, Clindamycin does not work for everyone.
