Acne herbs
Herbal remedies have long been rumored to solve a miraid of health problems, including acne, but they do not come without cost, literally.
Most supplement stores and websites out their proclaim that they have are magical chinese herbs that heal everything, your acne especially. You only have to pay a small price, $49.95 for example to get a 1 month supply. The more one place hypes up a product, especially if they are selling it, the more weary you should be of them. They are simply trying to fool you to make a quick buck.
Herbs that might actually work:
- Tea Tree oil: Tea tree oil has helped many in the fight against acne, and it is pretty cheap. Herbs do not come with many side effects so that is a big plus.
- Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar gets high marks from its users. They proclaim that it helps the body heal overall, gives them more energy, makes them a new “me”. I haven’t had experience with this type of treatment.
I think that many users of herbs for treating acne and any other medical alliment may be a victim of the “placebo effect”. They assume that the herb should work, so they act like it is working, even though it might not be working at all.
