Acne prevention tips

Warning! These following two acne prevention tips are sensible, free, and will do wonders for your health overall!

  1. Try not to touch your face! Throughout the day you probably touch your face at least a dozen times, whether on purpose or without thinking about it. Your fingers contain oils, when you touch your face, those oils are deposited onto your face. Acne is often caused by an excess amount of oil on the face or any other part of the body. This is an easy, free way to prevent acne.
  2. If you refuse to eat healthy, at least try to eat “smart”. Eating healthy and living a healthy life in general will help your body fight acne, but it can be difficult to make major life changes. Instead of drinking soda’s drink water! This will save countless grams of sugar, and water can do great things when it comes to cleansing the body. Try to cut down your fat intake, especially your saturated fat intake. Going from 80% lean red meat to 93% lean red meat will cut you fat/saturated fat intake by 66%! Switching from 2%/whole milk to skim or 1% will do similar things for your health and it is likely the easiest way to prevent acne.
