Vitamin A for acne
August 5th, 2009
It may be surprising to hear, but Vitamin A can help your pre exisiting acne.
In very large doses, around 10,000-50,000 IU’s a day, you should be able to see improvement in your skin. This is not some miracle drug that is the answer to all of desires to end acne once and for all, but it should make moderate improvements.
Why does Vitamin A work? It is fat soluable, which means that it could cancel out some of your fat intake. Excess fat intake has been known to cause and make acne worse.
You should be able to find Vitamin A at most drug and supplement stores. It is pretty cheap and it shouldn’t come with many side effects, so I encourage you to at least give it a try and see if it helps your situation.
