Rosacea skin care products
There are literally hundreds of potential skin care products that you could use for Rosacea, maybe even thousands. Instead of promoting a few individual treatments, I have decided I’d rather just give an overview of the different types of skin care products that you can use for Rosacea.
Moisturizers:
Moisturizers are nice because they can help with Rosacea while helping the skin as well, instead of damaging it. Most acne and Rosacea treatments leave you with dry skin, but Moisturizers do the exact opposite. Moisturizers are a good option if you have sensitive skin.
Cleansers:
Cleansers are likely the most popular form of skin care products for Rosacea. There are two main things that you need to remember if you are thinking about investing in a cleanser:
- The less ingredients the better, for the most part. Try to buy cleansers that keep it simple and to the point. They will generally work the best, be the cheapest, and come with the least number of side effects.
- Just because it is expensive, doesn’t mean it is better!
Cosmetics: It is fairly common for Rosacea sufferers, women especially, to use makeup to try to hide the appearance of Rosacea. There is nothing wrong with using makeup, just make sure that the makeup does not aggrivate your Rosacea even more. Try to use water based makeup products if you can.
