Lemon juice for acne
In this article I will be reviewing the practice of applying lemon juice directly on your face as opposed to drinking it.
Price: Lemon juice is as cheap as it gets! You should be able to find it at any grocery store for a few dollars at most.
Side effects: The only main side effect that you may notice is a stinging sensation immediately upon applying it. It does sting pretty badly I must warn you. Whenever you have acne/ an open cut and you apply lemon or lime juice on it either on purpose or by accident you are in for 5-10 seconds of legitimate pain. However I feel that the pain is worth it if lemon juice ends up helping you.
Effectiveness: It varies between person to person,but overall most have infact noticed at least a modest improvement in their facial complexion after using lemon juice.
Bottom line: If you think that you can handle the stinging, give it a try.
