Punch techniques for acne scars

August 26th, 2009

Punch techniques are an interesting way to treat acne scars.

The main reason why I am hesitant in recommending punch techniques is because they are expensive. You have to find a reputable doctor and have several sessions with him or her, taking up any of a doctor’s time is almost always going to be expensive. Normally punch techniques will end up costing at least 300 dollars when all is said and done. I don’t know about you, but I certainly do not have 300 dollars to spend on something that I am not sure will work.

The effectiveness of punch techniques is kind of hit and miss. That is the case for most alternative ways to treat acne scars. Acne is fairly easy to treat and prevent in most cases, but acne scars can be especially stubborn. Punch techniques are supposed to work very well for serious, deep acne scars that are hard to hide.

If you have the money to spend and you really want to diminish your acne scars, consider punch techniques, however it is likely not going to be worth it for the average joe.
