Popping Pimples

I respect Proactiv as a brand, but their products are simply not worth the money when compared to similar treatments. The green tea moisturizer is no exception.

I think that Proactiv is just trying to capitalize on the new “green” movement and the reported health benefits of green tea by making this moisturizing product. In my mind it is certainly not any more special than any other acne treatment.

However it is not all bad news for Proactiv and their new moisturizer. I must say that the green tea gel is pretty impressive in a couple of areas:

• There are virtually no negative side effects. That is almost unheard of in the acne field.
• The gel has a nice smell, consistently, and unlike many of its counterparts, it actually smells pretty good, so you do not have to be embarrased to put it on.

All in all, this is a decent product from Proactiv. Unfortunately though, I do not think that the small 4-6 ounce container it comes in warrants the 20+ dollar price. There are better options out their for your money.
