Vitamin b5 for acne

August 30th, 2009 Comments off

Believe it or not, vitamin’s can help reduce acne’s appearance in some. When taken in large doses, vitamin b5 has been known to have positive side effects in terms of acne.

There are two great things about taking vitamins to help acne. The first is pretty obvious, vitamins are natural and they have positive side effects for the most part. A lot of the acne treatments you will come across are chemically made and have negative side effects, but vitamin’s are completely different in that regard.

Another great thing about taking vitamins to treat acne, vitamin b5 in particular, is that it is prettty cheap when compared to other acne treatments. You should be able to find 50 pills of vitamin b5 for around 10-15 dollars, much cheaper than the average acne fighting treatment.

The only negative to taking vitamin b5 for acne is that you have to consume a lot of pills. You will probably feel like a drug addict after a few days! However, if you do not have any problems with taking several large pills a day, give vitamin b5 a chance to help out your acne situation and to make you healthier in general.

Benzamycin for acne

August 30th, 2009 Comments off

Benzamycin is a very interesting acne treatment, it is certainly unique.

The price for Benzamycin treatment varies, I have talked to people who have gotten it for under ten dollars, but there have also been plenty who have paid around 50 for it. It all depends on the quality of your insurance plan and where you are going to buy Benzamycin from.

Benzamycin is drying, it has been known to burn skin at first contact, and it bleaches fabric, but you can’t win them all, right? There are no real serious side effects that could result from taking Benzamycin, so there is nothing to be worried about.

If your insurance plan will allow you to buy this product cheap, definitely go for it, it will certainly be a good value and at least worth a try. However, if you have to pay upwards of 20 or 30 dollars for this treatment, skip it and try something else, you simply will not get a sufficent bang for your buck.

Proactiv refining mask review

August 30th, 2009 Comments off

Proactiv is probably the single biggest acne brand, thanks to their unique marketing practices. They could not have become so big if their products did not work for a majority of people however.

The refining mask that Proactiv makes is reasonably priced at around 30 dollars. You can buy the refining mask online for convience as well as in a select few actual stores. Considering the refining mask has such a long track record and has been so popular over the past few years, the price is fair.

There are no real side effects to proactiv’s refining mask, which is a huge plus for sure. However the bottle that the mask solution comes in is very small, which means that it will not last long if you wish to continue to use it over a period of time. Also, the refining mask is famous for smelling very bad, so put it on at night only.

The refining mask will not do miracles for your acne like Proactiv’s commercials would like you to believe, but few products for acne do. It is definitely worth a try once you factor in the trust that the brand brings and the track record that the refining mask has had.

Subcision treatment for acne scars

August 30th, 2009 Comments off

Subcision is a fairly common procedure to help cover up the appearance of acne scars.

Since acne scars are so tough to treat, and you usually need a doctor to help administer the procedure, subcision treatments are not cheap. In fact, they could cost several hundreds of dollars easily. Compared to laser acne scar treatments and full microdermabrasion however, subcision acne treatment starts to look pretty cheap.

The best part about subcision treatment when compared to other, similar, high powered acne scar fighting treatments is that there is usually minimal downtime after the procedure. You should be up and Adam immediately after subcision treatment.

Like I mentioned earlier, acne scars are very tough to treat, so it would be tough for me to give you a definitive answer as to how well subcision treatment works. However I will say that subcision treatment could possibly be the best value and the most practical choice out of all of the potential treatments you could try for acne scars.

If you have the money and would really like to see an improvement in your acne scars, give it a try.

Elicina acne treatment

August 30th, 2009 Comments off

Elicina is a somewhat expensive acne treatment that has had trouble at times living up to its big billing, literally.

Elicina treatment can cost between 30-75 dollars, depending on where you get it from. That is reasonable for a solid acne product that works well for most people, but there are definitely still solid options out their that are cheaper. If your budget is low, I’d recommend trying out a cheaper, natural treatment.

The main side effect from Elicina treatment is drying of the skin. That is probably the single most popular side effect coming from acne products. The drying should not be too severe, so you shouldn’t factor that into your decision unless you have severe dry skin already.

The effectiveness of Elicina is pretty much hit or miss. Many have seen improvements in the smoothness of their skin, as well as less pimples and less noticeable pimples, which is great. Others, however, have paid a pretty high price for the treatment and been dissapointed in the end. One thing to remember is that it can take a while for Elicina treatment to kick in and help your acne, do not expect results overnight.

Give it a try if the cost and drying of Elicina do not pose any problems to you.
