Elicina is a somewhat expensive acne treatment that has had trouble at times living up to its big billing, literally.
Elicina treatment can cost between 30-75 dollars, depending on where you get it from. That is reasonable for a solid acne product that works well for most people, but there are definitely still solid options out their that are cheaper. If your budget is low, I’d recommend trying out a cheaper, natural treatment.
The main side effect from Elicina treatment is drying of the skin. That is probably the single most popular side effect coming from acne products. The drying should not be too severe, so you shouldn’t factor that into your decision unless you have severe dry skin already.
The effectiveness of Elicina is pretty much hit or miss. Many have seen improvements in the smoothness of their skin, as well as less pimples and less noticeable pimples, which is great. Others, however, have paid a pretty high price for the treatment and been dissapointed in the end. One thing to remember is that it can take a while for Elicina treatment to kick in and help your acne, do not expect results overnight.
Give it a try if the cost and drying of Elicina do not pose any problems to you.
I’m personally not a big fan for needling treatment for acne scars.
It all depends on whether you are getting needling treatment from a dermatologist or if you are doing it yourself.
If you are getting this treatment from a dermtaologist, it will be very expensive. It could easily cost hundreds of dollars for just one treatment. That is a lot to spend on anything, let alone a cosmetic problem like acne. Acne scars can be fickle sometimes, so there is certainly no garantee that needling treatment would even work even if a dermatologist is administering it.
If you are administering the treatment yourself, good luck. You will likely see little to no results, and it still will not be real cheap.
To sum it all up, there are dozens of different other alternative treatments for treating acne scars that are much cheaper, effective, and practical, do not waste your money!
I am personally not a big fan of laser resurfacing for an acne treatment for a couple of reasons:
- It is expensive! You are going to end up paying between 3,000-5000 dollars for laser resurfacing treatment once everything is said and done. That is a lot of money. Even if it worked perfectly and I never had to worry abou acne again, which would never happen, it still would not be worth it. You can buy a beat up car for 5,000 dollars! Acne is a cosmetic problem, nothing more!
- It hurts! Almost everyone I have talked to has noticed that they experienced intense pain during the procedure. If it was just a little bit of pain it would be no big deal with me, but you will be completely awake during a very painful experience.
- It doesn’t always work! Think about it this way: You pay thousands of dollars for a laser resurfacing treatment, you go through a lot of pain, just to see that you had no progress or barely any progress? That is what happens to a lot of people.
- Laser resurfacing treatment is simply not a good idea for almost everyone suffering from acne.
Bio oil is a great, all natural acne treatment.
It is very cheap, which is awesome and the best thing about the product for sure. You should be able to find bio oil for ten dollars or less. Why pay 50 dollars or even hundreds of dollars for man made chemical acne treatments when you can invest in all natural treatments that are better for your body for half of the price?
Bio oil has been known to reduce the appearance of acne scars, reduce the appearance of pre existing acne, and prevent acne from popping up. That is everything that I look for in an acne product!
There are no real side effects to using bio oil to treat your acne, so that is a huge plus. It is pretty oily, but that is no big deal.
Bio oil is natural, safe, cheap, and effective, there is no reason to not at least try it out for your acne and see how it goes.
TCA is a legitimate, heavy duty acne peel designed to treat pretty serious acne.
To me, it all comes down to the price that you can get it at. If you can find TCA acne peel cheap, under 50 dollars, give it a try. It has worked for thousands of people and it is fairly cheap when you compare it to other heavy duty acne treatments for serious acne. However if it’s retailing for over 50 bucks, you your best bet is to probably spend your money elsewhere.
One thing to remember is that you will be applying this at your home, there will not be a certified doctor to help you through the process by any means. For the TCA peel to work, it has to be administered properly. If you make any mistakes while applying the peel you might end up with serious side effects.
All in all though, this is a good product. If you have the money for it and you have serious acne, give it a try, if not, there are other treatments out their.
